Get a blast of the positive corner of the motorcycling industry. We are upbeat against the uphill climb to ride out the terror of climate doomsdayers and owner-repair naysayers. Sturgis may have a new race but the city council and its city folks may just have something to say or do about it. Dave Zein tells you like it is and how it should be. You need to be a part of MRF, IMF and ABATE. Don't worry, Sam Burns rode in with a ton of trikes and babes--well many photos of one babe at least. KlockWerks has a partnership with Indian Motorcycle, so you'd wanna know about it. There is a new rodeo in a town in Ohio by ...

Photos and Text by Chris Callen, Cycle Source A good old fandango, kicking-up some dust Texas-style in Fredericksburg. If you're into motorcycles, chances are you are also into old ones. There's no better way to snatch a weekend full of antique and vintage two-wheel machines than an AMCA (Antique Motorcycle Club of America) meet. Problem can be some of the AMCA meets are a tad slow-paced, and sometimes if you pull in on a chopper, you'll get a raised eyebrow or two. Thatās not true in Texas, with the Cherokee Chapter of the AMCA. They initiated the Texas Fandango, and 2024 marked the third annual Fandango in Fredericksburg, Texas. It was a huge success. Divide and Run by Gearhead with illustration by Wayfarer TJ on his ā80 Super Glide, Budreu on his ā80 Wide Glide and me on my ā70 Electra Glide jammed. The local sheriff waited for us to make a slip up for days. We knew all the back roads. We left the Rusty Nail bar one night and spotted the Sheriff in our vibrating sideview mirrors. Three abreast, we pulled up to the only dingy stop light in town. He turned on his flashing cop lights, and we left on the hazy green signal in three different ways. He pulled into the intersection and just sat there. (publication dated 11-May-2024) * * * Check out this yearās winners and all the ...

A Fire in the Belly -- illustration by Wayfarer Hey, Every week has a vibe. I started to watch a Jerry Lee Lewis documentary and he mentioned something Iāve felt a few times in life, pure Nirvana. He said he encountered BB King in a blues joint and listening to the blues and R&B tunes made him feel as if he had died and gone to heaven. Sometimes these soulful occurrences happen as kids. Sometimes they happen encountering the vibration and rumble of a Harley. Sometimes they happen in the arms of a woman or at 5:00 in the morning, as you crest a hill and experience the rising sun on your fast-paced Dyna. The point is Nirvana is there. ...

The all new 2024 version is out and about by Ujjwal Dey The first thing you notice about the 2024 Can-Am Ryker is of course that it is advertised as a āthree-wheeled motorcycle." For those who love and ride motorcycles, there is no such thing. You got one wheel too many to call it a motorcycle. The name Ryker is not of Biblical origin nor a Bavarian legend. It is a silly portmanteau on āRideā-āBikerā with a āYā replacing it to re-invent the three-wheeled thing called āRyker." Plus, it rhymes with Can-Am Spyder. Blow by blow account from ground zero by Graeme Lowen I was able to persuade Terry Woods to come along to the March Hare with me and Keegan. Terry is riding his old FHL Harley-Davidson affectionately known as Poo Brown (mainly because of its faded brown color I think). Anyway, I would have normally gone to Invercargill on the Thursday evening to pick up Keegan, but because I did not get home from work untill 7:00 oāclock after spending a ten-hour day in the hot sun with two other guys, working on a roof, I was just not interested. I packed the sidecar up on Thursday night and come Friday morning I drove the van into Invercargill to pick up ...

The boo-boo by Wayfarer with illustration by Wayfarer She could not take her eyes off him. He was enjoying rum & chips with his longtime love, a childhood lover, seemingly inseparable. Then they left and the lonely, lovely stranger who served them, yearned for the man to return. A few days later, they bumped into each other at a charity hiking trip, aimed at picking trash on trails. He was alone. Apparently, he loved the outdoors and his gal loved cozy evenings in cafes and pubs. āOpposites attractā the waitress sighed. Then she had an epiphany, āone who waits, is a waiter,ā and she introduced herself. He loved the coffee from her flask. She loved that he was interested in ...
